Virgin Atlantic like to see their Upper Class service as First Class at a Business Class price. The service can start at your doorstep with their chauffeured limousine service to the airport. There is a dedicated Upper Class check in area followed by access to the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse.
Once you get on board the flight, which is pretty effortless due to priority boarding and on many planes your own Upper Class entrance the first thing you notice is the Virgin Atlantic on board bar, which is a unique area on the plane where you can stand up, stretch your legs, have a drink and chat to fellow travellers.
The Upper Class bed is fully flat, 202cm long and 84cm wide (it is slightly larger on the upper deck of a 747) . The seat is unique in that it flips rather than just reclining and the herring bone design means that every passenger benefits from an aisle seat.
All the seats have a 10.4” personal TV screen as well as a large table and a laptop power socket.
